You want more than the 9-to-5.
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with working 9-to-5. What a way to make a living! You support yourself and your family, and you’re doing okay. But doing okay isn’t cutting it for you. Maybe other people are cool with okay, but you want more. You always wanted more, but now you’re not sure how to get it.
You want a path out of your cubicle?
You’ve heard of people who have freelance careers and it sounds so… free. How do they do that? Maybe you could do that if you didn’t have a mortgage. Or kids. Or a large, hungry dog who will only eat the expensive kibble. If only there was a clearly defined path you could take that wasn’t so risky.
Hey, maybe you like your job, you just want something extra.
Even if you’re happy in your job and you love where you work, you just want to do something on the side that creates a little extra income. You can pay off those student loans a whole lot faster. How do I even know all this stuff? Who am I?
I know about these thoughts. I had them myself, long ago. I’ve enjoyed a fabulous 12-year freelance career, I run my own business and I even make some passive income. It didn’t happen overnight and it wasn’t any snap of the fingers. It wasn’t easy and I went through tons of emotional trials, yet here I am. It’s an adventure. Do you like adventure?
And hey, you’re probably a lot smarter than me. If I can do this, then you can, too. You probably have an idea of what you want to do. You might even be crazy super motivated. The only thing holding you back is the fear of going broke and eating out of dumpsters. Or trying to do some side hustle that actually causes you to lose a dumpster-ton of money instead of making it.
